Cygnets Childcare Redhill
Established in 2008
For over 15 years, Cygnets Childcare has been a cornerstone of the local community, renowned for its unwavering support of children and their families.
.
Cygnets Childcare's journey began on April 11, 2008, when Rose Dias registered her childminding business. Initially based in Horley, Surrey, it started with just one childminder: Rose Dias, the founder of Cygnets Childcare. This childminder setting was originally formed to assist Rose's work - life balance as a Retail Trainer, HR Director and being mum to her own two daughters. During this time, Rose primarily offered childminding to her close friend's children. Later, in 2010, Rose moved to Redhill, Surrey. While serving the Horley and Redhill community with a trusted reputation. The demand for Rose's childcare services increased way above her OFSTED, adult: child ratio, allowance and Rose decided to employ her first Childcare Assistant in 2011 and expanded her service provision, so many more parents working, studying and living close to Redhill can benefit from Roses family focused childcare services. Cygnets Childcare name was officially created on the 10th of February 2011 inspired by a Family of swans and six Cygnets by the Frenches Pond. Rose soon became a full time Childminder. As time progress, Rose completed her Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce and became a Childcare Practitioner in 2012. Since then, Rose has continued with her own professional development practices and have successfully complete Certificate in Education (Open) in 2014, Foundation Degree in Early Years (Open) in 2016, Foundation Degree in Management and BA (Hon) in Early years Education and Practice in 2022 (Farnborough University) and became a qualified Early Years professional to provide high quality support to her client. Furthermore, Rose is a strong believer in training and development and all her employees undertake continuous professional development (CPD) training. Those colleagues who joined as Apprentice Assistants successfully completed their NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Early Years Education and Care with 100% pass rate. Just like supporting children to grow to be valuable citizens in the society, Rose is passionate about training her Apprentice Assistants to become professionals through the Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeship Programme. Rose understand the ongoing need for a professionally qualified skilful team around the children in her care.
Since March 2013, Peter Dias a BEng (Hon) graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Ex Grocery Online Manager, also joined Rose's family business. Peter during his time at Cygnets, completed Postgraduate Certificate in Early Years, Forest School Leader Qualification and currently studying towards Early years Coach qualification to ever improve the quality of the Cygnets Childcare early years education and care provision and build the Cygnets Childcare brand further. With Peter's Mechanical Engineering and Retail Management background, Peter is well equipped to support Cygnets Team to succeed in providing great care and education services that Cygnets Childcare is well known for.
