FEET
Free Early Education for Two-Year-Olds (FEET) available for families receiving certain benefits or with children who have special educational needs or disabilities and children who receive care under and adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangement order. FEET offers eligible families up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week for 38 weeks a year. To find out if your family is eligible please go to

Funded early education and childcare for 3 and 4 year olds (Universal)
In England all three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week for up to 38 weeks a year. This is to give children the opportunity to take part in planned learning activities, and help prepare them for school through the early learning goals set out in the
Early Years Foundation Stage - Surrey. This is a universal offer and is available to all children regardless of their family circumstances. To find out further information regarding FEE funding please follow this link 3 and 4 year olds funding information
30 hours funded childcare for working parents (Extended)
Since September 2017 working families who meet the eligibility criteria can also claim an additional 15 hours of funded childcare a week. This means that eligible children will be able to receive up to 1140 hours of funded childcare a year. This change was introduced as part of the
Childcare Act 2016. To find out if your family are eligible for this extended funding please follow this link 30 hour funding eligibility.
Remember:
1. Revalidate: your code every three months. It’s a good idea to mark the date, as reminders might end up in your junk mail. Without revalidation, we won’t be able to claim the funding on your behalf.
2. Utilize the tax-free childcare scheme for the charges you have to pay privately. This scheme is beneficial because the government adds a top-up to the money you deposit. You can then use this account to pay Cygnets Childcare, Redhill.
3. Send us your Funded education account validation code with completed
Working Parents Entitlement Eligibility consent Form and Parent Declaration form - 2024 to 2025 so we can allocate the payment correctly.
